Real Housewife ALEXIS BELLINO is coming clean about a past addiction – anorexia and bulimia. If you’re a fan of The Real Housewives of OC then you likely know Bellino as the busty wife who’s a born again Christian and often derides the other women for questionable lifestyles.
Well, things haven’t always been peachy for Bellino. She told EOnline.com today:
“I suffered from both anorexia and bulimia. Someone can be 10 years free of it. Your life can go back to normal. I’ve been through a lot of therapy over the years. It’s something like alcoholism…Suffering from an eating disorder you can’t go, ‘I’m cured, I’m completely cured,’ but you don’t have to practice it.”
Bellino continues by saying that her eating problems began with her parents divorce at 12. She says she went days without eating in college until a friend finally called out to get her friend help.
Perhaps this low body image is why Bellino feels the need to pump her body full of silicone? Makes sense. Glad she’s doing better!
