The NBC network brought a monkey to pitch new programs to prospective advertisers on Monday, looking to highlight a new comedy set in a veterinary clinic rather than the circus its primetime lineup has been in recent years.

“Animal Practice” was among the shows NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt showcased at the upfront presentations held at Radio City Music Hall in Midtown Manhattan, as the network looks to finally climb out of the ratings basement.

That would be something of a revolution for NBC and new owners, Comcast Corp. “Revolution”, coincidently, is the name of a futuristic drama that Greenblatt also commissioned for this year’s schedule.

LOS ANGELES Jaleel White can cross dance rehearsals off his to-do list: The 35-year-old actor is done with “Dancing With the Stars.”

White was eliminated from the hit ABC dance-off Tuesday after losing the show’s “final dance duel” to fellow competitor Roshon Fegan.

The two actors were at the bottom of the leaderboard coming into the episode after judges scores and viewer votes were tallied.

Lake Bell is engaged to tattoo artist Scott Campbell, E! News reports.

Bell, 33, met Campbell when he guest-starred as himself on her now-canceled HBO series How to Make it in America.

“They’re absolutely thrilled about the engagement,” a friend of the couple told E! News. “They’re a wonderful couple who make each other very happy. Lake is beaming about it.”

Bell, who also recurs on Childrens Hospital, most recently guest-starred on Fox’s New Girl.

Wrath of the Titans, starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Edgar Ramirez and Toby Kebbell, opens in theaters Friday, March 30. The green slime flowed so much that even U.S. first lady Michelle Obama could not escape it at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday where singers Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift came away big winners.

The program is an annual stop for Hollywood stars who are popular among teenage and young viewers watching the Nickelodeon cable TV network, and this 25th anniversary was no exception.

Hosted by “Men in Black” movie star Will Smith, the awards featured performances by Katy Perry and British boy band One Direction, who performed their hit “What Makes You Beautiful” from the album “Up All Night.”

But as always, the green slime was the biggest star at the show where Bieber won favorite male singer in fan voting.

On stage, Bieber took the orange blimp trophy from Smith, then the show’s host had a surprise for the 18-year-old pop star.
