Validity

’Buying’ slots doesn’t stand for owning a part of my homepage, but rather you are granted the right to submit a photo in a slot of 50x68 pixel and a link to your homepage.

With transferring the slot’s purchase price to me, Philipp Gork, the owner of www.getafamousface.com, you accept the following terms and conditions.

1. Service of contract

The agreements’ content is displaying your picture of 50x68 pixels in your chosen slot. Furthermore a link to your homepage will then be published in the respective slot you have paid for.

2. Conclusion of a contract

2.1 Minimum age for buying a slot is 18 years.

2.2 The contract will be fulfilled with the transfer of the purchase price to me.

2.3 Once your photo and link are accepted and published on www.getafamousface.com, you cannot get a refund.

3. Purchaser’s rights and duties

3.1 You pledge yourself not to damnify the owner and not to abuse the homepage in any case.

3.2 You do ensure that the content of the published link at www.getafamousface.com neither violates the applicable law nor agreements with third persons. In this case I am allowed to remove your link and the purchasing price will not be refunded.

3.3 If you want your photo and link to be removed from www.getafamousface.com in the future, it will be done without refunding. The slot will become publically available again.

3.4 Generally prohibited links: obscene, offensive, pornographic and radical right-wing contents.

3.5 You commit to present a copy of an ID card to verify your identity if necessary. You may erase all details on your copy except full name, photo and date of birth.

3.6 You commit to provide a clear and shape photo of yourself. The photo must be free of third person’s rights. Otherwise you need the authority that allows you to publish the given photo.

3.7 By sending your photo to www.getafamousface.com you allow me to edit the photo for fitting the slot-size. The edited photo will be published on www.getafamousface.com for unlimited time.

3.8 By sending the photo to www.getafamousface.com you agree that I can use the photo for promotion and advertising. If you do not agree to that I need a written statement.

4. Third person’s rights

I am not obligated to verify the legality of data.

5. Owner’s rights and duties

I reserve the right to limit or to stop the service mentioned under ’Service of contract’. According to the actual state of data security within the world-wide-web I am unable to guarantee that the homepage is accessible at any time.

6. Costs and reservations

6.1 Displaying your photo being sent in is with costs. The purchasing price depends from the position of your requested slot on the homepage. The amount has to be paid one-time to me before your photo will be published. Once your photo has been published on www.getafamousface.com the purchasing price will not be refunded. The prices for the slots can be taken from the actual price list.

6.2 Reservations for slots can only be done to request@getafamousface.com.

6.3. The requested slot will be reserved for five days from date of request mail. If the transfer is not done within these five days the slot will be publically available again.

7. Limitation of liability

7.1 I am not liable for the offered service. Neither for damages resulting from using nor for misrepresentation by other persons. I am also not liable for any damages resulting from server failure or from service being closed.

7.2 I do not guarantee the correctness of given data from other purchasers; for that a liability is excluded.

8. Data Protection

You accept that I save your personal details and other information for unlimited time, as long as it is requested to fulfil the purpose of service.

9. Copyright

All copyrights according to www.getafamousface.com exclusively belong to me.

10. Law and place of jurisdiction

The contract and terms and condition are subject to the German law. You agree that the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, Germany.

11. Miscellaneous

All further explanations can be directed at you electronically.

12. Final Clause

The inoperativeness of one or several provisions of said General Conditions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such case a provision is applicable which meets best the legal and economic aim of the inoperative provision. This does not apply in case complying with the terms of the Contract would constitute unreasonable hardship for one or both of the Parties.
